Small Furries Looking For Homes

We often have some small pets looking for new homes. These tend to either come in to us one at a time as unwanted pets or in large groups when unintentional breeding has occured!
Below are the small furries currently looking for a second chance...

Gerbils

Our small furry fosterers (NOT THEM, THE GERBILS!) have got several of these cheeky critters from our sister branch in the West to rehome. There are both girls and boys in groups of two and three. Also some older single gerbils.
These make fantastic pets, clean and fascinating to watch.

Home checks may be done for anyone interested in adopting gerbils to ensure the caging is appropriate. We can offer advice on caging if required. We do not allow breeding of any of our small furries.

Pet Mice

We currently have a group of three young male mice looking for a knowledgable home. They are all black and white and handleable. We have other mice also looking for homes that are currently still with their owner. For info on housing and to express interest in rehoming any of the mice please call 01228 593649.

One Spiny Mouse...

This unusual little rodent was sold with his brother by a pet shop with no advice at all and inappropriate caging. Luckily they came to us and our knowlegable fosterers who have ensured they have everything they need. These are NOT handleable pets, more the sort of pet you have to watch and learn about. For more details please call 01228 593649 or email us.

Chinchillas and Degus

Chinchillas and degus live longest out of all the small furries; chins can live to 20 years and degus to 10 years so there is much more of a commitment required when taking some on. Both chinchillas and degus need to live in pairs or groups of same-sex. Chinchillas are predominately nocturnal while degus have a similar pattern to us. Both these animals have similar food and general housing needs. If you are interested in adopting some of these fabulous little critters, please contact us on 01228 593649or email.
We don't currently have any chinchillas for adoption but some degus are available.
